Lottery Jackpots don’t follow Bell-Shaped Curves. Or do they?

Are lottery statistics showing that jackpots are shaped like bells?

This debate has been ongoing for a while. Some believe it is nonsense. Some are believers. However, I prefer a more scientific approach to emotions. I want to see the facts.

Are you ready to find the truth?

This is my position. I hope you can understand it. Bell-shaped curve critics are not only wrong, but they are also wrong across the board. All lotteries follow bell-shaped curve distributions in theory, but I can assure you that they are also true in practice.

You’re now waiting for me to back it up with some lottery statistics. It’s no problem. You could actually do it with any lottery you choose if I were there. Next, I’d like you to choose one of the four performance characteristics that mathematical mathematics can analyze. These are Odd/Even analysis, Balanced Game analysis, Likely Game analysis, and Vector Game analysis. You’re not there. For the purposes of this article I will use the Mega Millions lottery (5/56), and perform a Balanced Game analysis.

We first looked at the theoretical Balanced Game graph. This analysis looked at all possible combinations of 56 numbers, and produced a perfectly bell-shaped curve. Next, we plotted all four years’ winning lottery numbers.

What do you think we discovered?

The theoretical and actual balance data sgp graphs for lottery jackpot winners match perfectly! The theory was correct! The lottery worked exactly as it was predicted.

Some of you may not believe me. Perhaps you think this is a parlor game, or that I picked Mega Millions to prove my point. Maybe you truly believe this is an anomaly, a once-in-a-lifetime event. Okay. Okay. Let’s do it again. This time, we’ll use the PowerBall lottery which is a 5/59 lotto.

These results are perfect!

The result would be the same, even if we kept going until the cows came home. This is a challenge that I am so confident in, in fact. I can’t find a single example of a lottery where the theoretical graph or the winning jackpot graph doesn’t match.

What have we learned?

1. The graphs of PowerBall and Mega Millions lottery characteristics match exactly the theoretical graphs.

2. This holds true for all lotteries.

3. The graphs match so you can use the theoretical diagrams to increase your chances of winning Mega Millions, PowerBall, or any other lottery prize.

Attention! These lottery statistics for Mega Millions, PowerBall and any other lottery are too valuable to ignore.
